CFUW RICHMOND
WORKING TOGETHER FOR THE BENEFIT OF WOMEN AND GIRLS
CFUW Richmond is a non-partisan, self-funded organization active since 1967. As a member of the national Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW), we work to improve the status of women and promote human rights, public education, social justice, and peace.
We are open to all women and welcome you to join at any time.
We promote education and leadership for women through scholarships, public events, speakers, and conferences.
We advocate at the local, provincial, territorial, national, and international level.
We connect with other women in our community to support issues such as ending gender-based violence, elder and long-term care, ensuring food security in our community, and affordable childcare.
Our members make new friends, share common interests and have fun together!
GENERAL MEETINGS
Meetings take place on the 4th Monday of each month from September to May. Currently we meet at Caring Place, 7000 Minoru Blvd. third floor, Rms 340, 345 & 350 at 7:00 pm. Members and guests gather for a brief presentation by a speaker followed by a short business meeting. We are pleased to be meeting in person again.
